Royal Niestern Sander has a wide, multi-specialized experience in ship repair. The company has specialists in all existing sub-disciplines. This is an appropriate response to the demand for surveys, mobilizations, maintenance and repair orders. Our national and international customer base includes large and small commercial vessels, inland-vessels, tugboats and ferry services, naval vessels, the offshore industry, coastal and marine fisheries and the government. Our port and voyage repair crew can assist you in the ports of Delfzijl and Eemshaven. Royal Niestern Sander offers a wide range of repair services on site. We are available 24/7 and 365 days a year. We ensure that your ship is quickly on course again.

Temporarily being out of business for ship maintenance always feels like a waste of time and money. However, unplanned failures can come with even more repair costs. Niestern Sander can assist you with timely execution of any kind of maintenance with her diverse facilities, experience and employees. With our docks close to the North Sea you will be back on the water as soon as possible. The skilled maintenance crews of Niestern Sander can offer any service you need. Track record ship repair

Conversion supply vessel 'KASTEELBORG' into walk to work vessel

The Blue Queen arrived in Delfzijl from Norway in late 2017. This standard PX121 Platform Supply Vessel (PSV) then spent the next 12 weeks being whipped into shape by Dutch shipyard Royal Niestern Sander, working on behalf of Wagenborg Offshore. Converted into a dedicated Walk-to-Work Emergency Response and Rescue Vessel, the PSV – renamed the Kasteelborg – was delivered on schedule in March 2018. It was a challenging conversion project in which time and planning played a major role.

Refit project for the "ARCTIC SUNRISE'

Over an intense nine-month period, Royal Niestern Sander Shipyard firmly took on the Arctic Sunrise in a refit project. During the extensive overhaul, nearly all of the accommodation and work areas of this Greenpeace vessel were renewed, granting the vessel at least another 15 years of service. Conversion icebreaker 'SERKEBORG' into diving support vessel

The offshore support vessel Serkeborg, sailing in the Wagenborg Offshore fleet, will play a crucial role during subsea diving- and maintenance work at an oil terminal. For this long term contract, Wagenborg Offshore commissioned Royal Niestern Sander to convert Serkeborg into a so called diving support vessel. At the yard, Marc van Dijk gives an insight into this project.
