Mobilization offshore construction vessel Daniel Bernoulli

Commissioned by the dredging company Jan de Nul, the offshore construction vessel Daniel Bernoulli arrived at shipyard Niestern Sander for a mobilization. All mobilizations works will be executed while the vessel is moored at the terminal of the dock location in the port of Delfzijl.

The fall pipe from the vessel at port side wil be modified so that it will be made redundant. The pipe will be provided with one large extra hoisting eye, the IFP spreader will be modified so that it is equipped with amenities to secure extra steel wires to it and on top of it an anchor point will be installed with panama chock so that the extra steel wires will be routed on an appropriate way to the winch.

Further on, the conveyor will be shortened. The front part of the conveyor will be dismantled and the length of it will be reduced.

All of the above to make the vessel ready for a new project to fully meet the customers’ requirements.
